A fresh face in Chicago and graduate of James Madison University's Theatre Performance Concentration, Diego F. Salinas has established himself as a reliable emerging Latino artist, unafraid to jump headfirst in to new and challenging work.

Most recently he wrapped up a national tour of Tomás and the Library Lady and an Arizona tour of Maddi’s Fridge with Childsplay. He’s eager to discover the rest of Chicago and is looking forward to his next project, whether it be in film, theatre, or voice over work.

When he's not performing or writing you can usually find Diego playing his ukulele or playing Dungeons & Dragons with his friends. No matter what, Diego is always ready to dive into something new!

Diego’s unlimited imagination makes him such a gem to direct. I look forward to many more collaborations with him!

Diego is an astute actor who blends the psychological and political with equal force and integrity.
— Ben Lambert, Associate Professor at James Madison University
Charm? Check. Work ethic? Double check. Good human to work with? Off the charts. You need a boy next door with just a touch of imp? Hire Diego. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
— Wolf J. Sherrill, Associate Professor at James Madison University
